This workshop will explore paper, in an open manner, as a support for drawing, painting, collage and other mixed-media processes. Choosing papers by their various weights and other properties, using them with or without grounds, are some of the first considerations.
From cutting, gluing, painting to silk screen printing, the workshop will give students the opportunity to find new ways of mark-making and an expression of an individual relationship to the materials.
The workshop includes one day of work in the silk-screen workshop in collaboration with Lasse Kanitz.
